Tree Seedlings Giveaway

The Woodford County Conservation District will be ordering tree seedlings again for distribution next spring.  Please put a reminder on your calendar to call the office (859-873-4941) for more updates in March.  The give away for 2010 will be on April 14th - 3 - 7 pm and again on April 15th between 8 am - noon are:  Flowering Dogwood, Eastern Redbud, Swamp Oak - White, Black Walnut, Bur Oak, and White Pine.

If you are a landowner in Woodford County and would like to place an order yourself please contact the office.  There are several different varieties available and cost $24-$40 for a bundle of 10 and $35-$45 for 100.  Prices are good thru April 2010.  For more info click here.
