Environmental Education Grants
The Woodford County Conservation District offers the opportunity to apply for Environmental Education Grants on a limited basis.
The guidelines for the grants are as follows:

Grant money must be spent within the boundaries of Woodford County.

Deadline for grant applications is March 15th.

Grant money must be spent within the following fiscal year (July 1st – June 30th) of receipt of the grant. (Please have receipts in by June 15th.)

If circumstances forbid the spending within time frame notify in writing the Conservation District by June 15th. Please include the reason for non-compliance. Grant money will be distributed on a reimbursement basis.

Any items purchased with the grant money must be maintained/secured on school property.

Written descriptions and pictures of the different phases of the project need to be submitted at completion or no later than June 15th. Need to be willing to make presentation at the annual awards event.

Grant recipient must have previously attended at least one teacher workshop, teacher resource fair or the annual farm tour sponsored by the Woodford County Conservation District.

Incomplete forms are ineligible.
